I have the GM mud flaps, don't know if they are "the best" but they work great. The fit is perfect and they install easy and look like they belong on the truck.

Did you get the molded ones or the other ones that were displayed for around 16 bucks?

The thing I like about the GM ones I just bought are that they have a rubber gasket insert so the hard plastic is not against the paint. Normally I install 3M film where the hard plastic contacts the paint but this time I did not. Time will tell.

True BUT that rubber still rubs against the paint and will look like crap after a few years. I put double sided 3M tape on mine where that rubber is and don't have any issues at all. May be something you might want to do before your paint gets rubbed off.

I bought the Chevy ones with the bow-tie, both front and back, from my dealer back in March of 2010 and the dealer installed them for $30- more. No problems so far.

I bought a set of the OEM GM's on e-bay, for $90 shipped. They were a bit of a PITA to install (had to remove real wheels and do a bit of drilling :puke: ), but they sure do look like they belong on there! Honestly, you can't hardly tell that I have the front ones on, because they tuck in between the nerf bars and wheel wells. The rear ones look really nice, just because they have the bowtie logo!
