Yeah I had a '03 2500HD and the motor finally took a crap at 244K. The truck was horribly abused and my manager decided running straight lucas was a good idea and the first 30 degree morning took out the oil pump and motor. I liked the Chevy but this truck is newer and in much better shape so I do like the ford better but once the new 2011 Chevy arrives i'll let you know what I really think.

Sweet, a railroad truck! I've been meaning to ask someone who drives one of these things a question...

How the heck do they work??! I see the wheels up front that allow the truck to ride on the rails, but how does power get delivered? Is power just delivered to the rubber tires like always, or is there a set of railroad wheels in back that get the torque instead?

Thanks!! Well the front wheels on this truck are lifted in the air as you can see in the rear their is another set of rail wheels but the power is driven by the inside dually tires on the rear. The 4 rail wheels just keep you on track  My old 2500HD chevy all 4 tires touch the rail at all times and it has 4 rail wheels to hold it on the rail, and even weighing 9700lbs that truck could due some sweet 4wd burnouts on the rail.
