Need Better Shocks-Suggestions

I did a DJM 3/3 drop  on my 2001 Tahoe and the ride stinks.I have talked to DJM tech about this and they offer no help.The shocks they use are Junk and they only have one kind.We even check the part numbers on them and they are the ones they want with the drop kit.Any help on what you used with your drop and what may help mine.

i used 98 chevy ck rear shocks on my djm 4/6 and the ride is perfect

i've heard good things about bilstein, but obviously haven't used them myself...
