Aded Some New Badges

Recommended Posts

Well now that I have installed the supercharger I thought I would add some new badges. These are GM badges from an XLR-V. They go really well with the stock denali badge.

Sorry for the dirty truck. Weather is threatening rain over the next several days. So I dont want to wash it just for it to get all dirty again.

You dyno it yet?

Yea with 6lbs of boost I am getting 420rwhp and 430ftlbs of torque. This is tuned fairly conserative and with the torque managements still on for the transmission as it is not build. Hopefully early next year I can get a custom 2 piece steel drive shaft, build the trasmission to handle more power and swap the pulley to get it closer to 500rwhp.

how does the supercharger handle towing duty? does it get too hot on the pistons? very nice looking truck!

I only tow a pair of sea doo's which total maybe 3000 pounds. It tows great no issues so far. Lots of power to really get up and go and there is no lug on the motor at cruising speeds either. Only issue it pulling them out of water you have to be really light on the throttle or the tires want to spin. Engine temps never get over 210. Also the supercharger has an intercooler so it keeps the temps down somewhat.
