Well, what kind of power are you looking for? You can go for a supercharger (more practical), a turbo (not as practical), cam, and lots of others.

But if you have a number you shooting for toss that out and then see what all responses you get.

prolly around 400 some where around there, im kinda not looking toward the supercharger or turbo, id like to stay all motor, but still be able to drive normally but still have that fun power there when i want it.

Now if those are numbers your hoping to get to the rear wheels as in RWHP, then supercharger and swapping out some internals is a must. Turbo charging will cost way more than supercharging.

Not really if you look into it. Superchargers alone run 6000-7000 dollar range just for the SC itself. And alot of the lower end ones aren't really worth the money in comparison to a turbo setup. If you have time and the right tools or access to the right tools, you can build a amazing turbo setup minus a turbo for under 1000. ANd then a decent high end turbo from turbonetics or garrett and produce more power for the buck.

Yeah you could swap for the 6.2 but, you know 400hp and tq are not making it to the wheels, and that's what I would go for not just what the engine can produce. And I've never seen a non turbo setup cost less than a supercharger setup, to go from non turbo to turbo cap, takes some money and 1k doesn't buy sh!t nowadays. Took five grand for my friend to convert his dodge neon to turbo lol. Dodge neon.

To get that kind of power and it still be driveable you would have to go FI to keep street manners, personally I would take a turbo over a supercharger.

I bet the OP (if he's still around) would be happy with a cam/stall combo, the plans for my 5.3 are a Vinci Trucker cam paired with a Yank 3200 stall...and later on down the road a turbo

Squire makes a decent turbo setup for 3500. Granted All I heard about squire is on the 50/50 line of good/bad. I hear the turbos don't last or the setup is cheaply made. I then hear about how good the system is and how strong the turbos are.....
