Level Kit And Rear Blocks Installed

Recommended Posts

Quite the transformation you made with your truck! Looks really good. A fellow employee did the same thing (added in the rear and leveled the front) on his 2011 and it sits just right

Why can't we just add the 2" bottom spacer under the strut and crank the torsion bar 1 turn to get that extra 1/4"??

...07 + up 1500 don't use torsion bars...or was that not a serious question?

Glad I went with an added leaf spring, I too went to my local shop and they sell springs, he advised me if I wanted added support in the rear for hauling or trailer better off going with the spring vs. blocks.

Glad I did, they ride is a little bumpy, but not that bad.

2" lift in the rear vs. front

39" in front, 41" rear measuring from the ground to lip of fender

Looks really good! Looks like Greece Ridge mall?

Sorry about that I haven't been under my 2011 yet but you are right no torsion bars. The last 5 years I have had Colorado's and they still have them.

Sure am. I'm from Webster but I have been down West Ridge Road way to many times and have been to that mall a few times (family in Greece and Orleans County).

  • 2 weeks later...

Well the lift and new tires were a day late but well worth the wait. I lifted the front 2" with Ready Lift keys, lifted the back with 2" blocks and went to Good Year 285 75 R16E (33") tires. I am loving it. The ride is a bit more squishy but the tires are so quiet its amazing for such an aggressive tire.

2" Lift and 33" Duratracs
