Bushwacker Fender Flares

Recommended Posts

I bought some Bushwacker boss pocket style fender flares, I have been seeing a lot of posts on other forums where people have had problems with the paint scuffing and wearing down there the flare sits on the fender even with the rubber backing installed to the fender flare, has anyone figured out away to avoid this? I have read about some people using 3m clear tape and some putting silicone on the rubber seal.

i havnt seen or heard of people getting scuffed paint... are you worried about if you decide to take them off? i could see some marks then... but youd also most likely need to repaint anyways due to fade depending on how long they're on there... otherwise id do just like you said get the clear bra material and run it around the wheel wells where the flares will sit against
