Glad I Went With 3" Blocks

Recommended Posts

Do you have a picture with the truck unloaded? Does it look like there is a rake?

With the 2" RC front level kit and 3" rear blocks there is still a slight rake (at least in my truck). I dont mind the rake I wanted to raise it up a bit to eventually fit larger tires

that's still a little too much rake for me... when my tire tread runs out, i'm going to do 2" level in the front and 2" rear blocks in the back for a total 2" front & 0.75" rear of lift

I went with the ready lift leveling kit and ended up with about 2.5 up front and i put 3" blocks in the back. I love the stance still some rake, but less so I think than if I had gone with the R.C. level. Here is the thread with pics if you are interested.

cool, i was just going to go with the "economy" package and do rough country level kit and blocks to save a few bucks over the ready lift kits! i'm just looking to fit some 305/50-20s on my stock wheels for now :)

Yeah, I was going for a little more of a "poor mans" lift. just gotta wait and get some taller tires for mine now.

I just got my 2011 1500 Silverado 4X4 ext. cab and was thinking about doing a 3" up front and add 1" plus factory block in the rear. I do like mine to set level, do you guys think that would work out. I have CenterLine wheels and 285/70/17 LTX M/S 2's to put on it.

I had an 02 and done about the same thing with the Keys and blocks.
