Flip Leafsprings Without A Flip Kit?

i was looking to level the back of my truck out with the front. i put a pair of 2" shackles on it and could benefit from 1 more inch. ive looked at a few flip kits but would i gain an inch just by flipping the springs without a kit? not looking to go to low in the back.

without a flip kit you have nothing for the axle to center on... also im not 100 percent but you may need some small C notch (lowered guys please chime in its been a long time since ive lowered anything) youd have to make some sort of axle perch you cant just flip it. put a couple sandbags in tehre and call it done cheaply lol
