No solid plans at this point, but...

 

1. I'm considering pulling the mouldings off it as one is beggining to seperate already and from what I hear keeping them on is an uphill battle. Most of the trucks I've seen with them off look super clean to me, but they all seem to have no running boards too and mine have to stay.

 

2. I have always wanted something that has a positive displacement blower, but I've never owned a vehicle that had a proven kit available and a stock bottom end that could handle any real additional power. So far what I'm reading is that the L76 is pretty reliable even at 500whp. On the other hand the 4L70e behind the motor is based on a transmission that has been known to grenade behind 300hp on a regular basis so it would still mean some fairly serious supporting mods and I'm not sure I want to get into it. Is there anyone one this board that has successfully swapped a 6L80 or, even better, a 6L90 into an 07/08 without much fuss? It should be fairly straight forward but I'm not seeing a lot of information online about it.

 

 

As far as the handles and gas cap go, chrome/stainless against dark colors does it for me and I don't see myself changing them out at this point. But I will admit that the gas cap is a little more fast'n'furious than I normally like to be.
