Added 2" Rear Rc Blocks

Recommended Posts

Its been about a month since I put in my 2" RC leveling kit and I wanted some of the rake back. I decided to go with the 2" RC rear blocks.

Install was pretty easy and definetly the look I am going for. Not a crazy amount of rake, just enough

One side note: When and if you order from RC, make sure you tell them that you are NOT STACKING THE BLOCKS>>> They sent me HUGE U-Bolts that I found out half way through the job were wrong. Nothing worse than that. They shipped out new ones, next-day air, and it was taken care of.

Looks very nice, now come clean mine  It also appears you have quite a bit of u-bolt left so you could always put 3" blocks in if you want even more rake for towing, but be for-warned it may cause issues. BTW did you put that pin-stripe on yourself?

Dont think Ill go to 3" and the 2.5" from Truxx isnt tapered so thats probably a no-go....What issues ??

The pin-stripe has been on since I bought the truck. Not sure where the orginal owner got it done. I was alittle upset I had to take the bowtie off since it was half covered by my bushwacker bed rail covers. oh well

Why would a 3" block cause issues? My 3" blocks caused me no issues at all.

Exactly why would it, but in my case it may be coincidence but after it was installed my steering wheel cants about 25 degrees to the right from center and I get error messages in the DIC for Traction Control, Stabilitrak and to Service both of these. I re-checked my install and did not find anything obvious like a block in the wrong way, loose wires or anything. It's in for service now so we'll see what they find.

i went with the 3" rear blocks as my truck was sagging in the rear with a full tank of gas / sand bags in winter / slightly deflated tires with cold weather.

i have the RC level kit, and i have a good amount of rake now. when i tow something heavy like a boat, it sits perfect!
