The only time those trucks along with all the other makes look good are in my rearview mirror, which is all the time.
pretty sure stock vs. stock he'd blow your doors off, 6.2 or not.

They're both rated the same 0-60. 6.3 sec...however...you get next to a guy with a RCSB, and your toast.

The 6.3sec is for the quadcab

I think Car and Driver broke into the 14s in the quarter with a RCSB Tundra with the 5.7 and the lowest axle gears. They also launched in 4WD though. Not sure I'd be willing to drive my personal vehicle the way those guys hammer the press fleet cars though. :)

Some independent tests I've seen put a stock 6.2 CC slightly faster than a Tundra DC 5.7. Doesn't matter to me, as I only care what it does with a heavy load behind it, and both would pull harder than my 5.3.

I have 2 Toyota 5.7's under me, so i will keep saying they look better in my rearview mirror. :P

LOL! Same experience here. The tuned 6.2l and transmission will be looking at just about any truck in the rear-view. And will surprise the hell out of some cars.

Unless the TRD is supercharged, which you wouldn't know until they toast you.

They install 'em and warranty them...oh and roll it into your financing. More than I can say for GM...You know how many people would pay for that option. I would have been all over that, a warrantied S/C. And I know they have them to fit....

The "dark side" would be Ford.

Nice looking truck. I like the wheel/tire combo.

Wrong, the dark side is foreign. American vehicles are made here and the money stays here, some foreign vehicles are made here and employ american workers but the money goes back overseas.

Fixed. How do think GM stock and bond holders felt 2 years ago? Actually, anyone who owned a US index fund at that time got burned too, since GM was in the S&P 500.

Where was your Silverado made...or your Equinox for that matter?

my honest opinion, tundras are hidious...they are like that fat chick at the bar that never gets any better looking with beer...i'd go down the american line long before i go to the ricers but thats just me, why? because america coined the true pick up truck...but whatever man as long as your happy...oh and remove the turd stickers, turds belong in the toilet not on wheels

Oh god... lets keep this on track!!

Nice Truck!!

I was considering them too. I ended up getting my Sierra Denali for ~5k more than a modestly build Tundra, so the decision was easy.

Honestly, im not too thrilled with them stock, but i like how they look lifted.

This is the height & tire size i would've gone with mine... HATE the color though. I like'd the blue/slate with a nice set of black wheels.
