Guy That Have Done Rear Blocks ?

Recommended Posts

I put in my RC leveling kit and I miss the aggressive look of my truck. I dont necessarily hate the rake, I just hated how low my front end was compaired the rear of the truck. It sits really nice now but when I drive down the road it seems like my ass end is dragging, even without a load in the truck. Id like to bring the back, back up.

Im trying to decide on a 2" rear block or a 3". I was looking at ZONE since they are tapered. Theres also readlift too $$$. Whatever I do, I dont want the front coming back down.

The TRUXX makes a 2.5" but its non tapered

Any help with be appreciated.

(Either way I go I will taking the stock 1.25" block out and putting this in its place)

If you decide to go with the 3" let me know. I have some Zone 3" with a set of 12" u-bolts that are new and I am not going to use. I ordered them but I decided to go with the Ready Lift 2.25" block before I installed them. I only have a 1.5" leveling kit so the 3" block would put me a little too high.

If you have a 2" leveling kit the 3" block will still get you less rake than a factory stance.

i have the 2" RC front level and the readylift rear 3" block. see pic below. its considered the budget 2" lift kit lol.

there is the perfect amount of rake IMO, and i am putting on the body lift soon.

i bought the rear blocks for $130 and sold my stock ones on kijiji for $85, so not a bad deal!

Here's my truck with 2" RC and 2" factory blocks. However, I went to 3" rear blocks for towing. Just be careful to make sure you keep your rear wheels locked in one place otherwise you'll screw up the thrust angle and dog trail down the road. But in your case you need an alignment anyway. Show us the pics when you decide and get installed.

I got the 2'' RC in the front and the 3'' Zone lift blocks in the back. Then I put on 285/75/17 Coopers. I like it alot now.

:( Wholy Cow Batman!! Did you mean to say 285/70/17? Otherwise your running almost a 35" tire!! If so, does it rub?
