Weekend Project!

had a great weekend here, unfortunately it all turned into a 2 day project, but eh, it got done and it looks good! :D

saturday was spent custom fabricating the top brackets for the grille guard and fixing the bumper, the guy that had it before me hit something on one side and jacked it all up and we ended up havin to fix his OOPS. Today was spent putting everything back together and fabricating the bottom brackets and tightening them all up and took the valence off and left it off! Once that was all finished i had some lunch, relaxed for a bit and decided, i wasnt done so i went out and started pulling off the steps too, and unfortunately that was a hell of a project too, but it was well worth it!

upside of custom fabricating brackets, stock Luverne brackets for my truck are just flat bar top and bottom, mine are quarter inch flat bar for the top brackets, and a fancy bar type thing for the bottom ones for extra strength, all in all my brackets are about 3-4x stronger than average brackets on that style grille guard

thanks :D

if anyone has any ideas on how to remove the little rubber bumpers on the hood for the bug shield without rippin the paint off please let me know  lol

A little heat helps remove anything adhesive. I stick to the hair dryer. I imagine they would pop off pretty easy with a little heat. Clean it up it Goo gone or something. I like 3M adhesive remover. Remember to wax after you use the adhesive remover.
