Cam Question In A Escalade 6.0

Ok I have a Caddy Escalade EXT with the 6.0 motor 2003 with 100k

I love this truck but have an opportunity

I know the C5 ZO8 cam is a nice upgrade to the 6.0 motor but I now have a chance to get a new LS3 cam froma 2008 Vette Coupe.

will the LS3 cam be a good upgrade for the 6.0?

has anyone done this and can show results?

Thanks

It will be more expensive to run an LS3 cam since you will need to change timing chain cover and relocate the cam position sensor.

Wont I need all that with any cam swap?

Im just trying to cut the cost of buying a new Cam since I have one coming.

Rather than pay someone to spec a cam, I would just call the cam company you want to go with- let them know what you are wanting out of the cam, and have them recommend a grind.

as Jenna said, you need to first decide what it is you want from a cam. There is pluses and minuses involved with cams and you need to decide what you need vs. what you want vs. what you can tolerate.
