'94 c3500 with bad (read non-existant) bushings

the upper a-arm bushings on my '94 are all but gone.  actually, most of them are gone.  i want to go with poly so i don't have to do this again if i still have this truck in 6 or 8 years.  has anybody ever done this and how big a PITA is it?  i've done the the bushings in my 'vette, is this pretty much the same thing just bigger and heavier stuff?  anybody know which bushings i need?  NAPA says there are two or three different sizes and they don't know until i remove the a-arm and we can match it up.  sounds like bulscht to me.
