Just Finished 7.5" Rcx Lift

Did all work myself in the driveway

 

It rides pretty good (for what it is) RCx has addressed issues with angles. I will post

close up pics of angles later.

 

Sure hope that 6-speed holds up. I've been running 35's with a 700r4 and 3.42's for years.

I am going to do a tune though. Maybe in the future I will do 4.10's

Dont need any gear changes, the truck will be fine running those. Some people think you need to change gears no matter what. I ran 42" Swampers for years with the 700R4 and had 4:11 gears and never had a problem, 4low was all I needed when off road.

It took an honest 14 hours from start to finish with a few breaks in there.

Difficulty level for me was easy. Just alot of steps and I worked alone.

 

I worked for 10 years as a heavy truck mechanic so this small stuff is a treat. I'm sure in a shop or with a few buddy's it could be done in 4-6 hours.

Looks great man! More then likely your gearing is fine. The new 6spd has a lower 1st gear to get them moving. 4.10's would be optimal, but you will be fine.

I know this is an old post but can someone tell me if there are rear wheel spacers installed on this truck to put the rear wheels inline with the front. Thanks
