Bought in 2003 with 119k on it and sold in 2006 with 156k on it. I loved this truck and did a ton to it. It's one of those "I don't know why I sold it" things.... The cab corners were starting to go and instead of spending 1200 bucks to get them redone I spent 12 thousand on a newer Dodge. (Dumb move) This truck is still around, I've talked to the new owner who did put the money into it and it is still one sharp truck.

Here is my first GM truck, a 2006 Silverado LT. It had a 5.3l with a 4l60. 3.73 gears and G80 locker. It was a good truck. Kept it for a year and three months. I sold it to upgrade to my 2007 Vortec Max.

Here is mine. 2000 Silverado (Bought April 29, 2000). Sold August 2009 with 85K miles. Was a great truck just needed additional cab space with the baby addition. I thought I would miss it but honestly the new one keeps me from missing it. I also get to see it at work occasionally.

I don't have any pictures but it was a 1983 Scottsdale, short bed, 305. 2 tone red and white. Loved it. It was a hand-me-down from my dad. When I got out of college he took it back and sold it. In 2004 with 89,000 original miles he sold it for $1500. I would have given him that in a heartbeat. He thought I wouldn't want it after I bought my Colorado. Oh well. It's gone now.

First Chevy truck was a 1975 4X4 and if I remember right it had a small block 400. First truck was a 1967 Ford with a stright six. First new truck was a 1977 GMC 4X4. They were all regular cab trucks, back then you didn't see as many CC and EC like now.

Current Chevy is my first Chevy. Although I learned to drive in my dads '77 El Camino. (That is a truck, right?) Three on the tree, doors as big as Volkswagons, and though as nails. That thing saved my life once. But I digress...

our first GM Truck was a 1981 GMC Sierra Classic 305 2bbl (was SUPPOSED to be a 4bbl, but somebody took the intake and carb.) didn't know how many miles were on it because the speedo cable broke on it. the thing was EXTREMELY Cold Blooded because the choke was inoperative. we sold it to a co worker at Lowe's when we found out we were getting some Win and Awesome! first NEW GM truck is the Win and Awesome currently in our Driveway.

First was technically a 84 S10 I got screwed royally on that, they sold it because the tranny was on the way out, bet I only put 800miles total on that thing. Was 18yo too poor to fix it so I traded it to a neighbor for an 82 Delta 88 that was good reliable transportation for a few years.

The first real Chevy truck I owned and actually got to drive for any length of time was a 84 K10 stepside in black, 305 and the 4speed manual OD tranny, if you watch the American Top Gear you know how good that thing was offroad, swore I would own it forever, but was 19yo at the time and only ended up keeping it maybe 3.5 years.

My first Chevy truck was the same color and engine but a long bed and 1986 model year. When I bought it, it had 33000 original miles on it (this was in 2002) and cost me 3100 bucks. I put about 12000 miles on it and sold it in 2004 with 45000 miles on it for 5000. That truck was incredible as it was immaculate and actually ran pretty strong for a 305 truck since it had so few miles.
