My truck did not come with stereo controls on the steering wheel. Can I integrate this to work with the factory CD stereo. My last truck had it and my wifes Outlook XR has it also and I miss having it on mine.

As long as you have cruise control on your current wheel it will work flawlessly and installation is a snap, 100% plug and play. I exchanged my the non-leather, no controls wheel in my 2010 Silverado LS for a leather-wrapped wheel with audio controls for $75 shipped!

Installation is very easy and there are quite a few threads here that have detailed instructions with pictures. Basically you have to kill the aux power (to make sure the airbag doesn't deploy), pop off the airbag, unbolt the single bolt holding the wheel to the column, disconnect two plugs from your existing wheel, plug them into the new wheel and bolt it on to the column. Reattach the airbag and reconnect the battery and you're off to the races.

I've installed aftermarket Sirius SAT and Bluetooth modules to integrate with the factory head unit and even they are controlled flawlessly with the steering wheel controls.

Sweet.

That is an upgrade that I will for shore be adding. My truck has the leather wrapped wheel with cruise but no stereo controls , not sure why. Its an LT mode 1 but most have the controls. Oh well, that gives me one more thing to add to the list. :P

Can you not just add the radio control pod to your existing wheel? I think the pod is a lot cheaper than the complete wheel.

No, you can't find the wiring harness for the redundant radio control switch AND cruise control switch anywhere. If you could, someone would have posted the mod proceedure on the forum already. Sorry. Buy a wheel and be done with it.
