Ask them when are we getting the hood light, glove box light, and under dash lights back. Also ask them how many chucks could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood. Also, ask them what is being done to ENSURE the AFM oil consumption issues are being addressed. Let's see how truly aware of the problems they are. watch their expressions to see if they are full of BS or if they really know there is an issue.

Are we ever gonna get updated audio/video to compete with Sync?
An option for better audio? The current Bose system isn't very good.
Any chance for a coil-over rear option with the Av going away?

Wheres the Baby Duramax at, are there any plans for some power/torque upgrades for the V8 engines, and how about a reg 6ft bed for the Crew Cabs?

+1 !!!! Probably my one complaint with the 1500 CC is the SHORT bed.

With the mpg requirements getting stricter, what about a 2 speed rear end? Have it change ratios when the trucks tow/haul mode is turned on. Maybe this is just a CRAZY thought, but never know, maybe it is possible!

thats more like it...id like to know why also...and about the 1/2 ton duramax. aaaaannnd i would love to know what their plan is for the 3/4 ton and 1 ton gassers. they got rid of the 8.1, they have the 6 litre still. are they gonna put the 6.2 in the 3/4 tons???? or a bigger gas engine than that? they fell short in the hp/tq department this year in that category compared to ford (on paper..drove the ford with raptor motor...6 litre still owns)

Why no upper scale truck interiors with real leather seats that are heated & cooled? Silverado & Sierra is the only American truck lines out there that you can't get cooled seats as an option. How about a hood & glove box light?

Heated and cooled seats are in fact an option on Denali pickups.

How about when exactly are we going to see the new K2xx truck platform?

2013 as a 2014 model.

The Ford interior has GM's in a choke hold. We need heated & cooled seats. Something equivilant if not better to sync system. They need to fix the flickering light issues. They need to insulate the interiors of the GM's the same or better as fords. My dads 2010 king ranch 4x4 is quiet as can be..... none of the door squeeks or squeels, no road noise, even on my PM's 2010 fx4 with a 6" lift, 35's, and a one chamber exhaust its still quiet inside compared to any other truck. Little things dont matter..... but when you have a lot they add up. Point is there are competitors out there that have GM beat so we need to come back out with something better than them.

AND yes SOMEONE needs to come out with a 1/2 ton diesel. I will jump on whoever comes out with one first (GM, Ford, or Dodge) so come on GM!!

Ask them if they will export the silverado/sierra to Europe, to fight with Japaneses, and other Ford Ranger, the 4.5 Duramax would be a great opportunity !!!

Can you tell us your source for this? I know you are connected but anyone who I ask at a dealer has no answer for this. I am looking at a new rig (March) but don't want to buy a GMT900 if it will be outdated in January 2012 (which I have seen previously as a release date).

Can you tell us your source for this? I know you are connected but anyone who I ask at a dealer has no answer for this. I am looking at a new rig (March) but don't want to buy a GMT900 if it will be outdated in January 2012 (which I have seen previously as a release date).

GM Truck Engineering Division. The sheetmetal and body demension drawings just started a week ago, today. I'd

say it would be a pretty huge stretch to have the truck in production one year from the time that the first paper and

electronic body drawings were being produced.

Trust me, I've been thinking about retiring my old truck for a new one also so this affects my desicion to buy

too and I'm comfident in saying that everybody "in the know" that I've talked to, says 2013 at the soonest for the CK2XX platform to be at the dealers as a 2014 model. Trucks first, utilities come a year later. It may even be later

than that so I wouldn't sweat getting a 2011 truck.

you mean you are comparing a dodge to a GM??? lol yea a buddy of mine has a 08 cummins and his cab noise is insane compared to ours....... but even then they could all be quiet.

I had an audi a4 and that thing when you shut the door was solid...... you could tell that door was shut each time you closed it and that it was shut good. Could barely hear the exhaust i put on it inside when rev'd up to redline. I remember thinking wow now i will know how quiet the cab will be on how the door shuts.
