295/65/18 Goodyear Duratracs... With Pictures!

Talk about a SCORE! They look great too!

Looks good but just from the pics it seems like its going to definately rub if you get in off camber situations..

I agree the truck looks great! However, I feel sorry for your fenders if you start articulating the suspension! It looks pretty tight just sitting on level pavement in the front off the tire to the fender lip on the passenger side.

If anything, I feel like I have more clearance in the front than I do the back. I'm not a SERIOUS off roader by any means. This truck isn't going to be off in mud bogs or boulder crawling. But it will see some off road. I'll definitely be getting a 1" rear block for it soon.

If it rubs too bad for what I do then I'll probably get a very small body lift even though I don't really like body lifts. I'll keep everyone updated on how they do and if I run into any problems.

I'm still 100% happy I went this route over 275's or 285's. I've got lots of compliments already on how its a different truck with them.

Dont worry, I run the 295's also and they do not rub. I spend most weekends in the dirt and never once have they hit. Yes I have a body lift but my wheel offset required it by 1/4" at full lock/off camber. Stock wheels you are fine.

Two other members ran this combo on stock wheels before going to 6" kits and they did not have problems either. Enjoy them and ignor the nay-sayers!

Im with u about BL never been a fan but the 1.25-1.5" you cant really tell if you have step bars and the rear plastic finder well inserts. I have the black go rhino II step bars and love them! U can see them here and how they hide frame!

Daniel,

Are you saying that you have a body lift..or no?

I've got to get that painted front end. That is a great looking truck.

How heavy are those Duratrac's? Are they a load E tire?

I have the 275/70/18 E's - 55 pounds

Mine are either 275 or 285 for 20"s. Not sure and don't feel like running outside. But if I remember my research they were 59 lbs unmounted. They are E load rated and ride fairly well. They require at least 40lbs of air pressure so they don't wonder all over the road. When cold they act like a bias ply which flat sides upon take off. Overall I'm very happy with them. I've only used them on muddy rice field roads and they didn't slip at all.
