How Much Hp/tq For 2000$

What would get me the most power for 2K$ ? Now I only have a diablosport predator tuner and a cone air filter on the end of the stock intake tube. My suburban has the 8.1 w/ the 4l85e trans. and is 4WD. When it's paid off I'm going to supercharge the monster but that won't happen for about 2 years. I really want a under cover torque monster that will pull a house off it's foundation. Thanks for any info Oh yah how the hell do I post a pic of my truck ?

Cam and longtubes to start. Maybe change up the TC depending on the cam you go with. Then throw a good tune in it. This would be most likely the best performance gains you will get before you throw the blower on.

I was thinking of a cam but have read mixed reviews and I can't find out if I'll need to replace it or install the stock cam when I get the SC. Can anyone recommend a cam that increases torque off idle but still has decent top end. I know that some top end will be lost w/a low end cam but don't want to much power drop in the top end. Basically I'm scared that with the wrong cam I won't be able to merge into traffic on the hi way pulling a 31' airstream camper with out being a hazard to myself and to others. I forgot to include in my first post that I just ordered a AEM Brute Force intake (was going w/a cheaper intake but have custom tags that say BRUT4CE) and was told by the dealer that longtubes were already there (how can i find out if this is true or not ?) I'm also thinking of some more exhaust work. Where can I get some cat-delete pipes? And what does H or X pipes do ? After my headers each pipe goes into and out of a huge muffler then they merge into a single tail pipe. Will a H or X pipe in there some where do anything ? I would like a complete exhaust from the heads back but we have 3 little girls (a 7 month old baby and a 6 & 4 year old) I have read to Manny horror story's about drone one guy said his dog won't ride in the truck anymore. I'm sure if the girls can't sing along to Hana Montana because of the drone the wife won't be to happy (Nobody wants a unhappy wife) and she won't pay for the supercharger when it comes time.

-Your cam selection will be quite a bit different for a supercharger. So unless you're willing to spend the extra $$$ to swap that out again when you get a supercharger...Personally, I'd rather only swap it once, although it's a pretty easy job.

-Deleting the cats won't do much for power but will make your truck smell and exacerbate any drone that occurs as a result of other exhaust changes.

-X or H pipe effects are negligible for power as well, they're for sound. My H-pipe didn't even net me 5 horsepower (peak or under the curve), and that could be attributed to the dyno or the temps.

-If you have headers, somebody installed them. No GM trucks come from the factory with them. If you can show us a pic of your headers/manifolds, we can tell you if you have them.

-If you're going to be towing, stay away from higher stall torque converters.
