Is it possiable to get some hillbillys together for a picnic at Blackwater Falls before the weather turns cold,seeing the sights and hanging out,Check out each others trucks.The old lady wants to go for the weekend of Oct.12th,I'll be stayin' one night,and bringing the kids,How bout it..steve

Sounds like fun, but unfortunately my October weekends are booked up already. I have to work the first two weekends, and then I already have plans the third weekend. After that it'll probably be too cold for anything like that. Sorry.

Northern part of West Virginia, if I am not mistaken it is or was a big ATV Motorcycle attraction! Its also supposed to be a pretty nice place never been there myself, its pretty far away from my location in WV.

It's in Davis, WV. Near the eastern panhandle, and close to Maryland.

That would be nice, but I won't be able to get back home probably until Christmas.

Yep they host a series of dirtbike races there every year, at least they used to. Blackwater 400 I think it's called. I've been camping there a few times.

Unfortunately my weekends in the fall are reserved for hanging out in the woods hunting so I can't make it!

Blackwater falls is northeast of Elkins W.V. off US-219/250 in Davis W.V. near Canaan valley sking.the northern part of Monongahlea National Forest. Steve

Hmm, WV wouldn't be too far for this Ohio guy. Haven't heard anybody around me talking about a gathering at all. We should set something National up for the summer...
