Hummer Starting Problems

I have a 2006 H3 that will start most of the time and then just crank and crank but acts like it's not getting any fuel. No check engine light either.

i take its the I5 atlas vortec? my buddys in his colorado does it also...he had the fuel regulator changes and throttle body but it still does it, warm or cold..i know the atlas series was plagued with valve problems but i'm not much help
