FINALLY!

I finally got my step rail back on.   :P

Some of you may remember after I put my 3 inch body lift on, I was waiting to modify the step rail brackets so I could lift them a couple inches, so I wouldn't have such a big empty space between the rails and the body.  I could only go up 2 inches instead of 3 because of the limitaions of the bracket.  2 inches actually works out good for me because peoples feet kept hitting the bottom of the cab when they used them.  :D

Anyway, here's a couple pics.

Thanks.  :P

Here's a few pics of the brackets, if interested.  Modified Brackets

Beautiful job Tom, but wow only one bolt!

What bars are those?

They are Westin chrome plated stainless steel bars.  Yeah, only one bolt in the end of each bar, then each bracket has a brace that uses one bolt, then of course the body mount bolts hold the brackets in place.

When I got them last year, I was kind of curious as to how sturdy they would be, but they ended up being pretty sturdy.  Theya are actually sturdier now after welding that new brace on the front bracket.  The original was thinner and bolted to the front bracket, kind of like the rear one.  :D

Thanks all.
