Girlfriend got a new car

Well, my girlfriend picked up a new car a few days ago.  A 2002 Saturn SC2, fully loaded, black, with the gold package, matches my car quite well.

 

She came over sunday and I washed it up for her and got some pics of her car and mine:

 

 

 

 

 

It's actually not too bad of a car.  Not too powerful, but it's a saturn.  My only complaint is the lack of leg room.  I pulled it in the driveway to wash it and with the seat all the way back and somewhat reclined my head was almost rubbing the ceiling and legs were a bit cramped.  Not too bad of a car though.  May have to get my sister to get something similar so I won't have to drive her around all the time.

 

Sorry, for the lack of closeups of the girlfriend since I know that's what all of you are looking for anyways  I'll try and scan some of the pics from our weekend trip to the dells, I think there were some pretty good shots.

Funny thing my gfs dad rode in m ytruck for the first time last wk we were going to pick his up in the shop.  First light i came to it was turning yellow as i approached.  I went through.  He was like well your an indiana driver.  hehe he is originally from illinois.  We all know how you guys drive HAHAHA  Either to slow or to fast and reckless

JP, I understand your point, but a front plate on my Camaro A) Looks like A$$ and B) Is unneccasary seeing as though when I get pulled over, usually the officer is behind me.    I know they use it as a centering point for radar, but the difference in reflectivity between a front plate and my shiny plastic SLP grill, is neglible.

 

Another stupid Illinois law is window tinting on the front side windows.  None is allowed here.  While this may not bother you, those of us who actually keep our cars/trucks clean and like to pimp them out a little like to have a little tint on those windows.  Unfortunately, I get pulled over usually every six months for tints.    Right now I'm waiting for my court continuance on my latest one given to me by a state trooper with a Napoleonic complex one peaceful Saturday morning as I was driving down the Tri-State.  His only reason for pulling me over was because he had a personal vendetta against tints.  He asked me to take it off right there, I told him "No, write the ticket, my legal team will see you in court"

Id be happy to register it here in indiana and house it in my garage for you if i could drive it once in awhile hehe (just trying my hardest to help you out.  You cant blame me for trying can ya?)

 

I have the darkest legal tint here in indiana.  I had mine done at the rhino linings place.  They offered illegal tint prior to me getting mine.  When i went to take my moms blazer to have hers done i was like i want the legal tint they said thats all we have now cause some a hole told the cops they (rhino) didnt tell him it was illegal and the cop came into their store and threatened them.

Actually I've known her for about three years and we had dated on and off before.  I hadn't seen her for a while and we ended up talking for a while and I went out w/ her and her friends one night.  And, well, you know how that goes.

 

 

As for the front plate, I'm in total agreement w/ Lane here.  My GTP looks a billion times better w/ the plate cover than with the stupid WI license plate.
