New Duramax Suburban?

Hi Everyone, I was just trying to get some info and wanted ask about this Suburban. It was parked out at Home Depot yesterday in Orlando Fl. Has a dealer tag on it. What the heck is it? Dose GM put the Duramax in a Suburban again. On another forum some thought it might be Mexican?? Why would that be? Any guesses?

I took this photo of the dash, it has a paddle shifter but the wrong 4X4 switch, my 4X4 Tahoe has auto 4x4

Its torsion bar front end too, I thought the NBS was like my 07 Tahoe coil spring.

You guys know anything? Definetly Bad A$$, I waited in the parking lot afew min till it started to rain. I guess I should have gone inside and had the owner paged, I always think of crap like that after the fact.

Custom job I would guess.....

But that would be great if GM ever decided to put the Duramax in the Suburban.

Ps. suburban never had the duramax, it did for a while come with the old 6.5 diesel.

The underside looks like crap for something so new. I'd say it's a custom job, like pwall said. It's got the truck front end too.

GM should make the HD Burbs and Yukon XLs have the HD front end. That looks amazing.

The silverado front fenders with the Z71 rear wheel flares looks a little strange to me. Good job overall though. The HD front end looks so much better painted.

There are custom fabricators out there doing this. It cost a huge some of $$$ but if you have the dough, they can build them.

I seen an 2004 for sale, 40,000 miles used and the asking price was $79,995

Duramax conversion alone is $45,000.00

(To have one built) 6 month to 1 yr. waiting list for conversions..

dannnngggg, thats as bad*** as chuck norris! It looks like someone took a suburban 2500, and did a duramax conversion on it! Also took the hood of a HD GMT and slapped it on as well.

One thing I always try to check when I see a car or truck "out of the ordinary" is see if it has a Manufactures plate on it. Though being in Fl you probably won't see that to often.

Cool Suburban.

If I came out and found someone taking pics of my truck without my permission, especially close up shots, I'd be extremely unhappy. If I found out they were posted on the net, especially up close, I'd be even less happy.

If I saw someone taking pics of my truck I'd be pretty happy, I think that would be great if someone posted pics of my pickup on the internet. I'd feel good about what I drive and what mods I do.

If they had Suburbans/ Yukon XL's like that at the dealer when I was buying my Sierra, I probably would have got that. I hate the look of the new Burbs and Yukons, but that one looks pretty bad ass.

Yeah, it's definitely you. The only thing that pisses me off, from time to time, is when a black guy asks me how big my rims are and where I got them, especially when he's driving an old crappy caprice or something other.
