I have MagnaFlow's on mine.

I hate Borla and don't particularly care for Flowmaster on the newer vehicles (on an old big block or a 5.0, different story).

One BIG aftermarket supplier you left out was DynoMax.  I've had DynoMax on every truck I've had except for the new one with MagnaFlow's, but then again, I believe MagnaFlow's are the same as a DynoMax Ultra-Flo Stainless Steel unit as they are both owned by Walker.

My suggestion to you is to listen to everyone's setup and let your ears tell you what you like.

How about for Performance and gas mileage??

What should you expect to pay for each of these installed??

I have quotes of $425 for Flowmasters.  2 mufflers

$350 for Dynomax...  not sure if that was for 1 muffler or two?

Gibson was $450.  I assume?  ??? That was installed price?  That was 1 muffler.

Your right...  Dynomax is one of the systems I had pricing on...  oops...!!

My brother had an exhaust system put on his 77 chevy pickup.  I think the total was $285 for everything.  This included labor, the cost of (2) 40 series flowmasters, (2) 24" chrome tips, and cost of aluminized exhaust pipe.  He already had headers on the pickup.

Hey folks. Been lurking here for a while, this is my first post.

I recently installed the Magnaflow catback system featured in this article: http://www.magnaflow.com/05magazine/05truckinb.htm

on my 2002 GMC Sierra Denali.  Long story short, it's not a direct bolt-in job.  The hangers weren't in the right place and had to be removed and rewelded a couple inches over.

The system looks great, but isn't exactly like the pictures in the article.  The muffler is still a 2-3" in\ 1-4" out affair, but it's much longer than the pictures.  The 2-3" in pipes are only 6 or so inches long.  Everything is high quality stainless, nice welds and polish on the muffler and tip.

The exhaust sound is much louder than stock, and drones a bit around 70mph and at certain RPMs around town.  I plan on adding  some sound damping insulation to the floor and back  cab wall to compensate.

It's the first mod I've done to the truck, so I'm pretty happy with the results and like to think there is a small seat of the pants increase in power.  Probably go with the Volant intake next...
