I went and checked out their website. Part Numbers;

46-408-9 Great torque, good for towing & RV’s. Works with O.E. exhaust and intake

46-413-9 Good midrange performance, great for daily driver, headers recommended

46-422-9 Best in performance applications, after-market intake and exhaust recommended

I'll probably pick the middle one. T-Byrne has them for $299 each which is a steal.

YEa, and some heads would be nice too!

But I'm still looking for simple things like Plug wires and a thermostat but no one makes stuff for it.

Yes heads would be nice - and a way to replace the crank shaft with the marine version [forged, instead of nodular]

In any event, there are great wire combo's available - two that work:

1. Nology review - Nology Racing - I am currently running these with NGK TR6's and am quite happy, and results seem fine at the track.

NB: order the Vette wires, sort of funny to think of a 7100 lb Vette, but they work.

2. Direct Hits Ignition - available at TByrne Motorsports - my co moderator and a preferred sponsor - he is running them on his 8.1L Sub with the Whipple.

I'll take a look at the NOlogy wires. I was wondering of the TR6's would work, I have those in the Z.

I looked at the DirectHits ignition but was turned off by the price.

I'm going to be putting this cam in my '02 HD Silverado and will post the results when the truck is done. I've been checking into head options for the 8.1 but haven't really found much. One problem is the lack of cores for this motor. There aren't to many 8.1s sitting in a salvage yard that can be worked on

I looked around and haven't been able to find any aftermarket rockers available for the 8.1. I'll check into this a little more while I'm at SEMA in November.
