fuel pump

ive been looking for a aftermarket fuel pump for my 99 silverado but i cant find any for my application. The problem seems to be that the pump is inside the tank and i can only find universal inline pumps. Anybody know where i can find some aftermarket pumps for the new silverados?

Isn't the fuel pump part of that expensive assembly inside the tank?  I thought the pump/sending unit/etc were one piece?

You might try Walbro.  They make in tank pumps for the Camaro.

 

You know... there are some things (like this) that you would think GM would find the "best" one and standardize on.

if my fuel pump ever goes out, should i save some cash by getting a inline pump? I heard people do that when they supercharge or spray their truck

      May I ask why you are considering this?  My truck has 2 fuel pumps on it, in the tank, and inline.

i dont know i never knew that you would have to leave your original have a inline at the same time but if thats the way, so be it
