Ok, I've seen this in a few mags and web sites.  What is the difference between a full-floating axle and a semi floating axle?

simpley put on a full floater axle. The weight of the truck sits on hubs not the axles. witch make all solid front axles full floaters. On a semi- floater the axle holds the weifht of the truck. You can alway tell a floater rear axle buy the hub sticking out of the center of the axle. Did I explain that well enuf.

All 1500's and 2500's with automatic transmissions have semi-floating rear axles.  2500's with manual transmissions and all 2500HD and 3500 trucks have full floating axles.
