What kind of lift are you interested and how much money are you looking to spend.  This is what I would use to determine what lift kit to buy.  If you are determined to fit the 33's I would say you can't go wrong with going to big   Maybe some of the lifted guys can help you out better.

Well, I really dont want to go too big since it isnt a 4wd, I just wanted something that would sit up a little higher and have wider tires. As far as money I would hope to spend as little as possible but I understand that it will be expensive

A body lift just spaces the vehicle body a certain distance above the frame which will allow for clearance of a larger tire.

A suspension lift actually raises most of the vehicle, with the exception of the axles, and generally allows for better off road performance.

I found that after my truck was lifted it actually rode a little better than it did stock and has a lot more flex when wheeling but if you are going to stay on the street,a body lift would probably be your best choice. It should maintain your factory ride quality and you'll probably be able to clear 33" tires.

If you lift the body higher on the frame, the bumpers will sit too low because they are bolted to the frame, not the body. Most body lift kits will come with brackets to get the bumpers up to match the body height.

i did a fabtech suspension lift with taller/stiffer coils and the upper control arm.  this is a 3inch front lift with 2 inch rear lift   32/11.5 all terrains from procomp just safely clear.

i am planning on stacking on a body lift so i can fit a bit larger tires on there.
