There's nothing wrong with a body lift but if I'm going to do it,it's going to be suspension.

Hey, how do you like the BFG KM's?  I almost bought those instead of the Xterrian's, but the deal I got from 4WP was too good to pass up

So far so good.

They make a little more noise than my MT/R's did but they seem to do just as good in the mud and a little better in the sand.

I'll keep you posted on the likes and dislikes.

I voted for stock for the same reasons that Jp did, functionality.  But if I had and older truck that I was just using to mess around in, I would put a small suspension lift on it.  That assuming it has a SFA, I would never lift an IFS truck.

just wondering sicne my tahoe has IFS, why you wouldnt lift an IFS truck?

Expense and complexity.  With a SFA (Solid Front Axle) truck, you just put springs, shocks on.  You also need to replace steering and suspension components to work with the added lift.

With an IFS truck, you have to relocate the front suspension.  You have to replace/move the pivot points for your front suspension.

I have seen SFA lift kits (3-6 inch) for $400-$800.

I have seen IFS lift kits (3-6 inch) for $1200-$3000.
