Tcc Lockup Speed, 4l80#

Recommended Posts

I have recently put a new mil. surplus 6.5 turbodiesel engine and overhauled Jasper 4L80E trans. in my '93 C2500 2WD pickup. My TCC will not lockup until right at 53 mph. I would like to reprogram the TCM to have the TCC lockup at around 45-48 mph. Does anyone have any advice on how to accomplish this? I see these tools such as the Superchips Flashpaq unit, and would have asked them if their tool would do this for me, but the contact link on their website doesn't work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Since the 4L80E is electronic shift about the only way to make the TCC lock is to do it manually, or by a aftermarket tranny controller like PCS.
