Black Bear Tune

so, after carefully weighing the pro's and the, well there were really no cons, I decided that I'm gonna have my truck tuned. I saw some of the results that people with similar trucks had, and I'm impressed. If I can get my truck to not feel like a big lumbering giant, then I'll be more than happy. I'm going to reserve a spot for the springfield, MA event that Justin is planning in April, I can't Wait!

The only thing I still can not truely understand is Torque Management, WTF is it??????

From what I understand, torque management is something you do not want on your truck! It's a reduction of torque during a shift. If you get it removed, your tranny will shift without loss of torque during the shift.

Unless you are drag racing, Torque Management is not a big deal. It is not the reason these trucks are dogs in stock form. It's all of the other software nannies that GM uses that kills the driveability of these trucks. Abuse Mode nannies and the timing/spark tables are what make these trucks fall on their face.

I am willing to bet you could have 2 identical tunes from Justin, one with TM removed and one without and in normal everyday driving, you would barely notice any difference.

That said, mine is 100% removed. :dunno: I am not a fan of TM, but it is not the main culprit here IMO.
