street scene front bumper :P I figure a mild drop for now 2/3 or 2/4 since i do haul our horses around and later down the road go more. :shakehead:

I haul 4 ATV's on a 16' flatbed all the time. I just put about 50 lbs of air in the leveling bags and i'm good to go.

Thanks for the info on the front end. I really like how it looks. I really like the color of your truck too!

Thank you, i was told if i go the 2/3 or 2/4, wont need firestone bags according to DJM, or would I? I figure with the trailer and two horses its about 2400 pounds. Next plan on ordering the rear rollpan and side effects from street scene.

Yeah you should be fine without the leveling bags.

I am getting ready to do the Belltech 2"/4" on my 2010.

I am going to do the rear bags for towing, "just in case"!

Thanks for the great pics and all the info!

Dave

Good Deal Dave, glad I could help you out!

Thanks for your Service to Our Country!

Is Djm just as good as belltech?

don't do DJM unless you are going 4"

go with 2" spindle or 2" MCG coil relocator or even 2" struts, and last option 2" coil

you shouldnt need the assist bags.

get the MCG flip w/ hangers and set them to 4" drop

I wouldn't use anything from McGoofy even if you gave it to me.

As for the exhaust question if your going to dump it befor the axle you can do the exhaust first. If your going to run it out the back, it will have to go over

the axle. I would lower it first.

so as long as i go over the axle i should be fine, right?

thanks for the help

i need some good sounding exhaust in my life :)

Just make sure they give you enough clearance between the axle and the bed because your axle is going to be 6 inches closer to the bed.

Also keep in mind that if you have Active Fuel Management. You can't run true dual exhaust. You can run a muffler that has dual in and dual out. Other wise it will sound like crap!

I am a Belltech fan, but I do have a McGaughys flip kit and assist bags on my 09 and they are fine. The only complaint I have is that the installation instructions are very vague. They maybe give you one pic, the rest are just instructions, they assume you know everything they are talking about, and everything they don't mention. Belltech gives you a step by step, tools needed, pics for each step, and even give the torque specs when you put everything back together.

I have also seen a thread on a automotive forum where the owner/staff of McGaughys were airing out his/their dirty laundry and making threats because people were bringing to light some issues that customers were having. Not good for business IMO.
