3.5 Combo Lift Pictures!

Recommended Posts

Hey Ya'll. I'm not big on posting on message boards, but I used this forum to do a lot of research when I was thinking about lifting my truck and deciding which size tires to buy. I was inspired by you guys to bite the bullet and just do it. I settled on a Rough Country 2" leveling kit, Zone offroad 1.5 body lift and Go Rhino 2 dominator Nerf bars. I hated the look of my stock truck and for what I paid for it I thought I should love it....Well now I do, I think it looks sick.....in the good way. Pics don't do it justice. It's higher in person. Did all the work in my old man's driveway, thanks Dad Check it out!!

Nice! That's the way they should look in stock form. What size tires do you have there.

They're the 275/60R20's 33's. They didn't rub with just the leveling kit either if anyone was wondering, but I just wanted that little extra!

OOOO now thats what im talking about. Thank you very much! I have just decided on what to do next, 1.5"BL FTW.

I was wondering what it would look like in black with dominator II steps and 33" tires. this is exactly what I was looking for. :D

You're the reason why I posted. When I was researching I couldn't find any pics of my style truck and this exact lift. I was hoping to help someone else out. If you do decide to do the body lift on your own there is a big learning curve. The bumpers is the hardest part IMO. You have to cut and do a little welding. I feel like i have Popeye forearms from all the bolts we had to take off and on. Make sure the body and bed are Square on the cab too before you button her up, take a lot of measurements before you start too. I don't mean to discourage you by any means, it really wasn't that hard but it was time consuming and tries your patience. Let me know if you have any questions I can answer.

Looks awesome man! I'm contemplating throwing on the 1.5" BL this summer. It all looks really good except for this one thing that looks absolutely AWFUL...... That tag on the front needs to be ditched! :D:D:P

LSU FTW.. literally. I have been looking for a Who Dat plate lately, but they're hard to find down here for some reason.

Truck looks great. Wish I had the know how and tools to do my own work.

I like the steps , the only thing different I would have done was to remove the plastic trim under the front bumper (makes the truck look higher) and a Dominator III step (so you could reach into the back of the bed.)

Glad you posted, I'm inspired to do something to my truck. Or at least have someone do something to my truck. :D

Good looking out man, I will keep that in mind when i get around to doing the job. Im always up for a good challenge. Mine looks like a mini/shorter version of yours minus the chrome rims, badges, antenna and front plate hehehe

I live in Baton Rouge now and have been here for 7 yrs. now. I'm originally from Thibodaux, and have lived in Lafayette also. I saw your avatar a while back...pretty sweet. Your truck is nice too, i'm just partial to chrome rims. If I recall our trucks are pretty similar. There are a lot of cats on here from LA... I saw the "Cajun thread" someone started a while back. Gotta rep. the boot haha
