Chevrolet Colorado Gmc Canyon

Recommended Posts

Small truck sales seem to be making a spiral downwards.

I think this is an advantage to me when time comes to sell my 2010 as a used truck. Fewer good clean used trucks may make mine worth a tad more in a couple/few years. Assuming the economy picks up - which may or may not happen in a couple/few years.

Calendar Year Colorado Canyon Total U.S. sales

-------------- Colorado ----Canyon ------Total

2004 ------ 117,475------- 27,193------ 144,668

2005 ------ 128,359 -------34,845------ 163,204

2006 -------93,876 --------23,979 ------117,855

2007 -------75,716 --------20,888 ------96,604

2008 -------54,346 --------14,974 ------ 69,320

2009 -------32,413 -------- 10,107 ------42,520

But then again, who knows what will follow the Colorado/Canyon in 2012, if anything.

Found this.

Chevrolet

Colorado: Finally an all-new Colorado comes out in 2012 model-year. It will be based on GM’s new GMT-700 midsize body-on-frame platform. Little else is known about the 700’s.
