Lets See Some Towing Pics!

Hauled this hog home yesterday.  2009 X720 with 228 hours.  That little 2.8 Duramax sure pulls good.  Not gonna lie, I see the hook (or is it addiction) with diesels and towing (please GM the 1/2 ton diesel better be good).  Apparently my brain doesn't work as both times I've towed with my Colorado, I've forgotten to take a shot of the truck and trailer.  Doh!

Which mirrors are those?

Nevermind.  I thought that was a 1500.  Started at the end and going backwards.  I see the Duramax emblem now.  :)

Here are a couple of pics from my travels. first is my 06 dmax with my rig and second is my 16 1500. I was not sure if my 1500 was up to the challenge of my rig but I am here to report that in 2010 I hauled 4000 miles with and average of 11 miles per us gallon. 2017 hauled same rig thousand pounds lighter with my 1500 gas for 4500 miles with and average of 11 miles per us gallon! same mileage. Yes my 06 with the banks 6 gun pulled the hills better but not way better. And I pulled the continental divide both times including the Rockies. I am super impressed with my 1500. pulls like a champ.
