The low-mileage classic pickup quandary: keep the miles low or enjoy driving it?  Don't sweat it, Patrick; if you care for it then it'll last forever.  Then you can brag about how many miles it has, instead of how few.  Happy driving!

True...I know the feeling.  With trucks in particular, I have to agree with gmcblu, better to enjoy, repair/maintain, then brag on extremely high mileage trucks that are still on the road.  My Suburban is about to roll the big 00000, probably in the next month or two.  I guess I should throw a party?

I guess the only thing to worry about in your area is that freakin rust...if you're putting alot of miles on it you may be driving it in the winter...not such a problem down here, although I am near the Gulf Coast, so the humidity can keep trucks from drying out properly in all the nooks and crannies and will cause some rust.  In my case, driving it is the best way to prevent that, it seems to shake the junk out of the corners, and keep the water from standing inside the body panels.
