I've got the '78 GMC Jimmy that Jeff's been talking about. 4x4, NP203 transfer case, TH350, crate 350 with a Performer intake and Performer carb on it. Believe it or not, the rest of the truck has nearly 400k miles on it and there's very little rust! (Although that's changing with time.. LOL!)

I've also put a 4" Skyjacker lift with Rancho 5000 shocks on, with 35"x12"x15R Mud tires. I'm actually trying to figure out how to lower the front just a tad and make the ride a bit softer. (It's pretty harsh right now - any suggestions?) I'm considering taking one of the harsher leafs out of the front, since the rear leafs are the originals with a 4" block in the back.

I'm actually working on changing out the induction to - yes, I know I'm crazier than Jeff - a CrossFire TBI fuel injection system. I'm one of the few people who actually know much about this system and it's very well suited to trucks that really need the low-end grunt. (Especially a beast like this!) See my sig for the link to more information about the system.

I'm also working on cleaning up the interior a little; most of it is in decent shape, but it has it's quirks just like any other truck. The window channels are all shot, and need to be replaced. I've looked in LMC's catalog and they sell a complete window channel and door felt kit for ? is this pretty reasonable?

Anyway, here's a not-so-recent pic of him (it's a "He" since it's called a Jimmy.)

I've since painted it a little and it looks a heck of a lot nicer. I'll try to get some newer pics up soon.

Ken who??  Just kidding!!  Glad you made it over, I should have sent you the URL weeks ago....

Ken is one of the most active car enthusiasts I know, it seems he and I are always up to projects, either on our own stuff or with some of our local friends.  He's also a great guy to go junkyarding with!

Welcome to the board!
