im in the market for a 6" suspension lift that i will have 4 wheel parts install. why 4 wheel parts well here in TX they have done about 20 of my buddies trucks

and all turned out great but when it came to a 2009 no one had any advice. So im looking for the best ride out of a 6" lift and well best buy out there.

i hear cognito is the best but expensive im willing to take a step down to save a little. i stay on the high way 98% of the time..please HELP. im ready to lift this grandpa looking stock truck!!!

PS. THE WHEELS AND TIRES ON THE TRUCK NOW ARE FACTORY UPGRADES I HAVE NOT SEEN THESE WHEELS ON ANY OTHER TRUCK NOR HAVE I FOUND THEM ONLINE THE PIC IS ATTACHED ....THEY ARE FOR SALE THROW A FAIR PRICE AT ME THEY HAVE 10,000 MILES ON THEM. THEY ARE 18'S. nice and shiny NEW! and the tread is 99% new!

The "best" lift kit? That is a tough one, as there are alot of variables to consider, such as replacement coilovers, leaf packs, etc. That being said, I would probably say the best bang for your buck would be Superlift or BDS. Other kits can be considered to be better, but at a much greater cost.

procomp. ive got it on my truck... with a few mods...

but ive installed about 5 of them kits.. and ALL the trucks left driving great..and are still driving great. they get beat on too.

Fabtech for the money...offers 8" of lift great quality. But if you have no limit, Cognito 7-9" (is it out yet?? I know the 10-12" is) with coilovers, HEIM Steering, and Deavers.

I really like the BDS. The truck rides great and the kit comes with new coilovers for a good price. My buddy has the Fabtech Basic on his 08 Silvy and he always comments on how much better my truck rides and how much better my turning radias is than his. Fabtech is a great lift, but the basic comes with massive strut spacers and I would prefer new coilovers. Fabtech TRE's are problematic from what I have heard. All of the companies that you have mentioned are good, and you will get alot of mixed opinions.

You do have a good point about the Erector Set Strut Extensions (glad I got rid of that crap) and the shitty TRE's . I hope this problem can be fixed SOON!

thanks guys for yalls comments! im thinking BDS or pro comp...so far installed for a 6" i got 1 quote of $2,600. I had pro comp on my f150 it rode nice! no problems but i didnt keep it long so that may be why i didnt see the problems but i was running 37's. hope to do a lil more research and get my truck up in the air where trucks belong! have yall heard of 2 crave nx4 wheels? i really like them i saw a member on here with them and sorry bud but i think im gonna do the same rims. 20's on 35" toyo m/ts

ive got a buddy with a fabtech lift on his 09 and it rides nice and its reasonably priced ive had my fabtech on my truck now for over 3 years and haven't had a problem yet. of course its different setup than what yours requires but that might give you an idea of quality.

CST uses the extensions too, no one bitches about them. The TRE's aren't shitty, just the boots. Stop talking smack on your lift ho!

Having said that, I would go with the BDS or Superlift :o) I do love my Fabtech still though!

ANd Mudaholic....your truck is fuggin SWEET!
