Hello team, new to the forum and new to the GM truck world. Issue: truck seems to be misfiring under heavy load. The engine light will begin to flash and traction light comes on. After a minute or so, traction light will go off but engine light will remain. Codes cleared and drives fine until another misfire. No issues while truck starts. I’ve replaced the coils, wires and spark plugs. Cleaned up 4 grounds (ECM, and the 3 under the truck on the driver side). I’ve attached the codes present. P300 and rest all U codes. I’m at loss. If there is anyone experienced this please help! Next step is the stealership. link to video.

Ive got about 12k miles on my 2018 Sierra SLT. Last week I started getting the “service stabilitrak” message nearly every time I went through mud. I took it to dealer and they said there was a TSB on it. Said it was mud/debris hitting underneath the truck, for which the remedy was to spray some dampening coating. Well, I was out deer hunting this afternoon, went through some mud... ding... service stabilitrak. Any ideas?

Looking to get a decent set of chains/other traction device for my Silverado. I have P265/65/R18 size tires and the owners manual says to not use chains with this size tire as there isn't enough clearance and you risk damage to the vehicle. It also says "Use another type of traction device only if its manufacturer recommends it for use on the vehicle and tire size combination" My question is... has anybody out there found a manufacturer/model of chains where the manufacturer recommends it for this tire size on a 1500?

I am new to the forums and hoping someone may have seen this or run into this before. I own a 2012 Silverado LTZ Crew Cab, 5.3L, 2WD, 102K miles, Factory radio with a harness plug for a an amp for subs. Electric drop down side steps. LED headlights & fogs. K&N Nighthawk Intake. Battery is less than a year old but i'm in Arizona so batteries get wrecked yearly. I recently took my truck to my local DIY car wash place where I always go. I washed my truck like normal and dried it off like normal. I did not spray engine bay, just the front grill area inward but not heavy. I don't usually use my AC but I'm in Arizona and it was about 109* outside. When I was leaving the car wash I kicked my AC on so I wouldn't mess up the clean windows from rolling them down. I proceeded to leave and as I was coming to the stop sign before making my turn and my truck's idle started to drop, truck kinda sputtered, the battery voltage dropped, the stabilitrak light, traction light, ABS light, all kicked on. The radio shutoff and turned back on. The AC shut off and turned back on, but switched from recirc to fresh. I turned the AC off and then back on again and continued to drive home. It did it a few more times so I swung into the gas station to park and see if it would do it while i was sitting there. Nothing. So back on the road again, turned my AC on and hit the next light, and it did it again. I changed my oil today (6/13), I cleaned my K&N air filter last weekend. I took a trip to Lowes this morning to see if it was still doing it, and sure enough it was. The photos are attached of it doing it in the lowes parking lot before I left. I rolled the windows down, turned the AC off and cruised home. It didnt do it again. So I am thinking the AC is drawing a huge amount of power from the system when I run it, or my battery is done for. Any helpful feedback would be appreciated.

Alright gang, I've got an '09 Yukon Denali that was having cruise control issues from time to time. I replaced the brake light switch which seemed to solve that issue but shortly after I had the service stabilitrak/traction control message display come up as well as a glowing ABS light. The switch was replaced a couple of weeks back. The traction control/stabilitrak message has illuminated maybe 5 or 6 times since and only comes on when I have stopped at a light or a stop sign. I know this may be a wheel speed sensor issue but the fact it showed up shortly after changing the brake light switch has be scratching my head. Anyone have a stabilitrak cure? Thanks for any input.

Has anybody besides this guy ever used a universal set of lakewoods for traction bars? Or am I better off with a fixed set like BDS makes? Part # 22026 Heres the link I’m referring to: I’d like to try them just because of the price difference and the old school look. My truck is 17 Sierra 5.3 with a 6.5” zone, 37” tires, 4.88 gears, and soon to have a TSP cam and 3200 stall Circle D Converter. Thanks in Advance.
