I am looking to replace my sensor and the harness as they are known to be bad and causing the p0711 code. In my research I found the 2015 has a split harness but they changed it in 2016 to a one piece harness and then I believe they went back to the split one, not sure which year. What is the part number for the sensor and harness? I've looked everywhere and can't find nothing, plenty of threads but noone has mentioned part numbers and acdelco website does not have a part listed in their catalog for that year.. nor does any parts site like napa or autozone

2015 chevy 1500.. 3400 miles. A couple of times the heat didn't work. It always did "next time".. the other day I had to take a 3 hour drive.. it didn't work the whole way there...stopped for an hour..headed back still with no heat (it was 42* so it was not pleasant) Took to dealer - they said they cant find anything wrong, of course, and of course the he was working fine. Its only done this a couple of times in the past 2 months now. Anyone experienced anything similar? It blows out air, and it will adjust the fan speed properly (or what I'm guessing WOULD be properly if it was blowing out heat) based on the temp of the cab. Even when taken off of auto and just turned temp to hi and fan speed up, with AC button off, it was still blowing cold air. Any ideas? Could it somehow be user error? (doubtful) Also when the AC button is on, even when its on heat, is the AC really still running? seems dumb that lights always on even when you have the temp high and its blowing heat.

temp 2003 Chevy avalanche 1500 wheel drive interior rear view mirror
SheilaK posted a question in Ask the GM Technician
I have a 2003 Chevy avalanche the digital display quite working. I check all the wiring and fuses I do believe, and found no issues except now I can't get the mirror's electrical connect to seat all the way on the mirror's plug. It clicks but half of the connector is still up. Has anyone else had this issue, if so how did you resolve it? Thanks -
I did a coolant flush on my 5.3 '03 Sierra and changed the fluid from green to Prestone orange coolant. I had mild overheating issues prior to the flush, so I figured flushing the coolant and changing to orange Prestone might help (I did the same exact thing in my '04 GTO with LS1 and haven't had overheating issues since forever). Now the temp always goes above midway, and here's the thing... It does the same thing even on the HIGHWAY with fans on high speed, and it sometimes goes down in traffic only (basically when I'm not giving the engine any acceleration). I changed the coolant again with dexcool, and did an air bleed, changed the temp sensor and thermostat two months ago, and cannot see any leak from the pump but still nothing is helping. I'll note that the green coolant didn't look dirty when it I flushed it out, and that it only heats up when I'm accelerating.
