This one has been driving me nuts over the past month, when I am moving (above 20mph or so) and I press on the gas I hear a squeaking that sounds like it's coming from the front. The squeaking seems to be louder with higher RPM's but will stop when I let off of the gas. If I am just going down the road at 60mph and only giving it light gas, I do not hear the noise at all. If I sit there with my truck in neutral , and rev the engine I do not hear a noise at all. This only happens when moving. I made a video of the squeaking, that I will add to this. When I was making the video, I was able to get my truck to make the same noise while in neutral. At first I thought it was the u-joints on the drive shaft so I changed them but that did not help at all. I have also change all the belts , and just changed the a/c compressor. Any idea on what this can be?

Squeaking Brake pedal
Dan Secor posted a topic in 2020-2024 Silverado HD & Sierra HD Troubleshooting
Brand new 2021 Silverado 2500 HD. Has 700 miles and the brake pedal squeaks so loud when pressed, everyone in the vehicle can hear it. Not only embarrassing, but really embarrassing for GM to have a 60k dollar pickup truck that sounds like it is 20 years old when you hit the brakes. So disappointed. Truck has been at the dealer just as many days as I've been able to drive it. Should have stuck with Ford.- 2 replies

I recently purchased the rough country 2.5in lift and 33in BFG all terrains for my 2016 Silverado about 15k after my lift install I developed a noise from the front driver side suspension and the noise is noticeable on rough terrain at slow speeds or anything other than smooth pavement a local shop couldn’t find anything wrong with it any advice is needed for an example it sounds like there is play in the strut but the shop I took it to checked all the bolts

I changed the brakes and rotors out on my 14 Silverado crew cab about a month ago go to the brakes squeaking non stop, and a visible gouge on the driver side rotor. The pads still had about 60% on them but changed them out anyway, here I am a month later and the same damn squeaking is back, there is no visible sign of anything dragging the rotor but holy hell is it annoying. Anyone had this issue?
