My horn is not working. Neither when I press the center of the steering wheel and when I double click the lock button on the key fob. The 15amp fuse is still good and I can hear the relay clicking every time I engage the horn. I seen a video related to this subject on YouTube and they recommended cleaning the corrosion from the prongs of the horn plug. There was a small amount of corrosion on the prongs. I used a small file, cleaner and dielectric grease and still nothing! I then took the horn out of the truck and wired it directly to a battery to verify that the horn works and it does. I'm completely stumped on what to do next. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Guys, So I decided to try the Ready Lift SST 4” kit on my 2021 base Sierra 1500 2WD. I didn’t really see any definitive answers on whether it worked or not but figured I’d try. Started with my base and figured I’d add a great set of take off Ranchos off a new truck I got on eBay. Mixed them with the 4” SST kit PN 69-3940 added Fuel Rebel 6 17x9 wheels with Toyo R/T Open Country 285/70/17. Went together without a hitch. No rubbing yet.

So as my previous threads have stated, I bought the truck from a dealership who’s basically after I threatened to get my lawyer involved they said they couldn’t have any further communications with me all because they refused to fix the mistakes they made. I go in today to look into the wiring under the dash and noticed a red wire, and a blue one going under the carpet, well got to looking and it’s running to the fuel pump. I found a receipt where they replaced the fuel pump and instead of wiring it the right way they spliced into what looks like the plug in for one of the air bag plug ins. They skinned the wire back and soldered it onto a known key on/hot. Well then I seen these wires dangling from a loom right under the dash, it’s a factory loom and even had the wires labeled under the dash but didn’t say to what. So what are these wires for? I used the multimeter and didn’t get any power from them, so not sure what they would go to. All I know is I’m more than pissed at the poor workmanship these people did. I’m taking it to the dealer soon to get the speedometer fixed because it’s +/- 10 over, and the service air bag light is on, but it also has the recall on the air bag. So what gives, what are these wires to, and where would the fuel pump hot wire originate from anyways. I think what happened is one of the block grounds broke off, the main one on the back of the block and that’s why they hooked it up to the hot the water they did, why I say this is because I found the hood to body ground laying in the engine compartment. Anyways, y’all got ideas on these wires, and where the hot for the fuel pump would actually go so that I can fix their mess?

I have a lifetime warranty on my Truck, I am tired of the electric noise , “super quiet”. I want to throw some cat back exhaust on, resonator delete or a new flow master 40, something , with a 6inch tip, Welllll the dealer told me to call there warranty people and the warranty people said any modifications to that part of the vehicle WILL void the Lifetime Warranty, I already had a new tranny rebuilt and new driveline:differential seal installed also wheel bearings ALL UNDER LIFETIME WARRANTY, So it has been a huge help, So can I or can I not do a simple exhaust without voiding my lifetime warranty ??

Hi everyone! just hopped into my first GMC Sierra 2020. Traded in my 2017 Tacoma which went 80,000km without an issue. 2-days in now and I’ve got an engine light, and clear water leaking from underneath the truck. It’s leaking from the joint with the two tubes which I’ve attached a picture of. Any thoughts on what this is?? I’ll be calling the dealership but just want to see if this is common? also... anyone else notice the poor undercoat? Used my thumb to rub the undercoat right off to steel...
