So my battery needed a jump on sunday leaving o'riley's. got them to give me a jump and as i'm driving home, the radio shuts off. now the tv only turns on when I put the truck in reverse. i checked the radio fuse and its good. also opened up the glove compartment and unplugged the blue cable for 15 sec like i saw in a youtube video. I should also add that im able to listen to the radio using the steering wheel controls but only for about 15 min before it shuts itself off.

I have less than 300 miles on my 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD. I have utilized the remote start feature on my fob 3 times so far. Each time, upon entering the vehicle, I place my foot on the brake and push the start button to bring it up to life. Everything works fine, with the exception of the infotainment screen. It remains black, with the exception of displaying the rear camera view when I back out my driveway. Once back in drive, it goes back to black. I have to park the vehicle, turn it off, and then re-start using the vehicles start button to bring the display back on. Anybody else having this issue?

I started my Sierra yesterday and the dash screen is dark. No radio, no bongbongbong when I open the door. No info about ventilation system, etc. Does anyone know the name and location of the fuse for this? I hope that's all thats wrong.

I thought I was average with Tech issues but I have Android auto which is suppose to interact with the mylink system. I have a 2016 silverago LTZ and had the update after the original purchase which I thought I understood installed Android Auto in the mylink system. In searching through the setting I find Apple Car Play but no Android Auto. In further research I find that when my phone is plugged in with the USB cable (OEM Charging) that the projection icon in mylink should turn to an android auto icon. Mine does not and when I tap projection is say no supported device found. Might someone who uses this feature help me out? I have found a link that IF I can get this to work we CAN watch live video and movies while in motion. I'd be glad to share!! Thanks in Advance. DS

I’m having issues with my 2019 Sierra Denali Infotainment screen. About 5 weeks ago, with less than 2000 miles on Truck, when starting my Truck the screen flickered and went black. It smelled like something was burning, but no smoke or anything. I took the Truck back to the dealer and they worked on it for almost 2 weeks, but did not fix it. First they said the software needed to be reloaded. They tried that at least 3 times with no success. Then they said it was an HCM module and had to order a new one. That didn’t work. Then they said they need to replace the screen which is on backorder with no expected shipping date. Anyone else have this issue? I’m extremely pissed this happens to a new 65K truck and the dealership takes no responsibility in trying to get this resolved in a timely manner. They say it’s a GM issue and they can’t do anything about it.

This happened to my 2009 Sierra, the head unit screen went blank but the radio is still working and I can increase and decrease the volume and change the station etc., Any feedback on how to resolve the issue other than installing a new head unit? Can I replace only the display without having to replace the head unit?

A couple months ago I went out (right when it started to get colder here) to go to the store and my 8" MyLink on my 2014 LT was just dead. Screen did not come on at all (No back light even), radio would not play music, no backup cam, no clock, no Bluetooth, nothing. If I went to the audio section of the information DIC on console it just said audio off. The truck warmed up and then it would come back on and all worked again. It has started happening more frequently and not just when cold now. Recently I've had my battery die after the truck sat without driving for a couple days (it is a brand new battery). I'm guessing the radio issue is somehow draining the battery and caused that. I did check and replaced the fuse, even though the old one looked ok. I'm not sure what controls the screen and audio output to check and what I'd be looking for, can anyone help me so I can do some digging? Also to note, system sounds like turn signals and key dings still work while this is happening, but if I remove the radio fuse all together they do not.
