As the title suggests, my Sierra radio randomly switches back and forth between whatever I'm listening to (typically FM) to this "aux input device" message. Is the issue from the USB or the 3.5mm jack? I'm considering taking it to a stereo center and upgrade the stereo, but if I can fix this on my own I probably won't upgrade. I did some research, and it sounds like it'd be around $500 for a decent unit installed and configured to use the steering wheel buttons. I don't really use either the USB anymore or the 3.5mm jack, so I'd be OK with simply disconnecting them. I look forward to your suggestions. Or, if upgrading the unit is easier to upgrade than I'm anticipating, I'd welcome any advice. -
I noticed today as I was headed to work my usb music was sounding funny. I realized the FM channel was playing as my USB music was playing. I tried off on cycle, putting my stick in another port, etc. No change. My USB has worked fine until now. Any ideas? -
I am unable to use my iPhone 7 with my 2014 gmc radio. The radio works with AM/FM radio and it displays that my phone is connected via usb. However when I click “media” it is still showing that my device is connected even when it is not connected via usb. I have hard reset my phone and tried different usb cables to unrecognized the phone from the radio but nothing seems to work. Please assist!!
