John Goreham Contributing Writer, GM-Trucks.com 7/24/2015 The J.D. Power 2015 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study is based on a survey of over 84,000 vehicle owners. It is a gauge of how gratifying a vehicle is to own and drive. In this 20th anniversary study, J.D. Power found that the Chevy Colorado is the highest ranked mid-size truck and the Sierra HD is the highest ranked Large, heavy-duty pickup. In the Large light-duty truck category the Ford F-150 took first, the Ram 1500 second, and the Sierra third place. Survey respondents had no love for the Silverado.
