I have had issues since I bought the truck (used) in 2017 with the air vent controls. The buttons for where the air comes out have never worked properly. Every time I turn the truck on those buttons correspond to a different vent output and it seems totally random. It's not even like they correspond to a different vent selection, it is truly different every time. Sometimes pushing multiple buttons doesn't even change where the air comes out. The dealership told me years ago that they would have to replace the ventilation control system altogether. Has anyone experienced this/have ideas on how to fix it? -
New at forums. I have 2013 gmc 2500 that is having hvac freezing issues. After a while of driving I can't change temp, speed, direction, or off. All buttons do nothing. I can turn off truck and turn it back on and everything works again for a few minutes. Went away for few months and randomly came back. Side note the outside temp shows blank lines on dash cluster randomly then shows temp outside. I don't know if this is a part of issue or something else. Thanks for any help.
